Welcome Yule has been a winter tradition for families in the Connecticut River Valley for 4 decades, and is back for its 40th annual show with more music, dance, songs and stories to drive the dark away! This year’s multi-generational celebration of magic and community in the dark days of mid- winter highlights the quiet beauty of winter and the joy and celebration of a slower season, in our mythical Yule Village. All of the hard work of harvest has been finished as our show opens, and our community is gathering to revel in this time of plenty. Singing, dancing, and mumming fill the first half of the show. Our second act moves out into the cold and dark of a winter’s night, brightened by bonfire, song, dance, and story as our village moves toward the new year. Join us in singing, touch the Yule Log for good luck, feel a chill with the eerie Abbots Bromley Horn Dance, and laugh away the dark!
Welcome Yule is a family show full of music, dance, songs and stories. To learn more, explore our

Exciting News for A Happening V: The Bestiary
Cloudgaze and Eggtooth Productions are thrilled to announce that we have received generous grants from the Mass Cultural Council as well as the Community Foundation of Western MA to support our 2025 Immersive Arts Festival, “A Happening V: The Bestiary.”
This festival will transform the Shea Theater into an exploration of theme, hosting installations, music, theatrical performances, and movement pieces, featuring the collective contributions of over 50 local artists. Audiences will experience otherworldly environments and narratives inspired by Aesop's Fables, George Orwell's Animal Farm, newly imagined cautionary tales, and creature myths of all origins.
Thanks to the Mass Cultural Council for their vital support this year. We'd also like to thank the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts for their support in the form of a Flexible Funding grant. We couldn't do this work without you!
