ABOUT EDDIE 9V

Eddie 9V (9-volt) has made a name for himself in the blues scene in the south, wowing all types of audiences with his searing Freddie King-style approach to guitar and his original retro/soul songs. An "old soul" at the tender age of 24, Eddie makes his home in the swamps of Georgia and has played clubs and festivals throughout the region. His debut album, 'Left My Soul in Memphis,' was recorded in a shotgun shack studio and was released in the fall of 2019. In Summer 2020, Eddie released "Way Down the Alley (Live at Blind Willie's)." In December, Eddie released the Digital 45, "The Come Up," which was added to Spotify's official Nu-Blue playlist!

Eddie 9V has started the 'Lowest Key Podcast' on his YouTube channel which also streams to Apple and Spotify. The podcast explores stories of shows, music, life, and interviews with interesting people. Lowest Key is hosted by Eddie alongside his long-time friend and local Atlanta Musician, Cody Matlock.

Exciting News for A Happening V: The Bestiary

Cloudgaze and Eggtooth Productions are thrilled to announce that we have received generous grants from the Mass Cultural Council as well as the Community Foundation of Western MA to support our 2025 Immersive Arts Festival, “A Happening V: The Bestiary.”

This festival will transform the Shea Theater into an exploration of theme, hosting installations, music, theatrical performances, and movement pieces, featuring the collective contributions of over 50 local artists. Audiences will experience otherworldly environments and narratives inspired by Aesop's Fables, George Orwell's Animal Farm, newly imagined cautionary tales, and creature myths of all origins.

Thanks to the Mass Cultural Council for their vital support this year. We'd also like to thank the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts for their support in the form of a Flexible Funding grant. We couldn't do this work without you!
