Those in the Cloudgaze community are acutely aware of loss as we continue to grieve the late Natalie Dansie Graves. Nat, a key member of the team behind “A Happening”, was a creative leader, a boon to the installation process, and graced the winding pathways of the Shea with dance and song, whit and whimsy. This year’s performance is dedicated in their honor.
This project is made possible with support from Eggtooth Productions and the Local Cultural Councils of Greenfield, Deerfield, and Leyden.
ABOUT A HAPPENING VI- SALVAGE:
For two nights only, on Halloween weekend, October 30 and 31, Cloudgaze Productions presents “A Happening VI: SALVAGE”, a fully explorable, spectacular, theatrical world, housed at the Shea Theater Arts Center, in the heart of Great Falls, MA. Each October, Cloudgaze Productions brings together over fifty local artists from the Connecticut River Valley to devise a unique world with new lore and rituals that develop through the years. In “SALVAGE”, audiences will visit Restoretown, a community shaped by loss, and move through memories that lead to joyful celebration. Inspiration for this work ranges from William Shakespeare’s The Tempest to The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.

Audiences who love mystery, intrigue, and participation will find plenty of ways to interact and engage, while those who prefer to observe can enjoy sights that delight at a distance.
“After watching A Happening evolve over the last five years as an enthusiastic audience member, I’m thrilled to help make this year’s Happening a weekend to remember,” says co-producer Ezekiel Baskin. “The work this team creates is truly magical, and we’re looking forward to inviting audiences in to play, explore, witness, and build something special with us.”
With two performances per evening, a limited audience capacity for each show ensures easeful access to roam the building. Time compresses in this one and half hour experience -
